From Usain Bolt to Zach Bitter, he studied all of their career numbers. Eventually, his sights turned to the pros. He joined the cross country and track teams his junior year of high school, memorizing his teammates’ PRs and paces. He loved to focus on specific topics, and the numbers called to him. Being autistic, that’s how his mind has always worked. He could recite the Scoville rating for every hot pepper.
